This year, Botafumeiro celebrates 50 years of history. Half a century has passed since it opened its doors in 1975 with a clear idea: to bring the best seafood and Galician and Mediterranean cuisine, faithful to the product and the trade, to Barcelona.

Throughout these five decades, the restaurant has maintained its essence, growing without renouncing the tradition that saw it born or the close treatment that has made it a reference for generations of customers.
